Day 28 - Child Sponsorships Part 4
Welcome to the fourth day of the focus on Child Sponsorship. Are you ready?
Still coming back to learn more? Either that means you haven't fully committed to the idea of sponsoring a child or perhaps you are still considering the various (wonderful) options. Below are two more great programs which rely on child sponsorships to fund their day to day needs. These are both what we would consider small programs serving about twenty five to thirty children. One works in only one city, but has four small foster homes there; the other is one part of a program that works in three different cities. Each relies on a founding couple for the vast majority of the development, organization, fundraising and day to day running --- an incredible task and so inspiring to me to see what just a few people with their hearts in the right place and the grace of God can do. It takes away our ability to say, "I am just one person...what can I do?" Take a look at these two programs and the answer is... AMAZING THINGS! Will you make the commitment to stand along side them and help keep these programs running through child sponsorship?

Swallow's Nest is a small program in Henan province. The needs far outstrip the number of organizations committed to this region, and Swallows Nest plays a much needed role in reducing overcrowding at the local orphanage and providing focused medical care for some of the weakest and frailest of babies. Each child needs 5 sponsors at $50 per month. This provides the child with immunizations, medical check-ups, food and clothing. Simply go to the donate page for easy on line payments. Your monthly donation will go far to provide basic necessities and tender care for the babies and children waiting for their forever families at Swallows Nest. LEARN MORE

The XuZhou Home of Hope is home to 25 school age children. Unlike most other foreign organizations, Home of Hope brings focuses on older children who are usually not eligible for adoption. Our desire is to nurture these children in an environment that will give them the opportunity to become upstanding, productive citizens with a knowledge of right and wrong and with good character. Without our help many of these kids would never even reach adulthood; those who did manage to survive would be destined to pick and shovel coal out of the mountains or scavenge for things to sell or eat. It is thrilling to offer them a better life, and to teach them about joy and happiness and eternity. LEARN MORE

We currently have twelve children in need of full sponsorship -- $108 per month. While we realize that that is a substantial commitment, we hope that you will consider what it means to for these children to have a safe, stable homelife and partner with us today.
