Day 27 - Child Sponsorships Part 3
Welcome to the third day of the focus on Child Sponsorship. Are you willing?
If you are back after reading Day 25, awesome! I was afraid I would scare everyone away. I am also hoping it means that you have made the decision to sponsor a child. Double awesome. Below are two more great programs which rely on child sponsorships to fund the day to day needs for staff (particularly childcare staff, remember most organizations do not compensate non-Chinese workers), housing, food, medical care and all the other things kids need to grow up well. (You can see others at Day 25 and Day 26.) Both are outstanding organizations, and both provide high quality care for children with particularly difficult special needs. Both do an amazing job of stretching limited resources and stepping up to do hard things when others say it can't be done. Your sponsorship just enables them to do more, and believe me, there is so.much.more to do. Will you step up to partner with them today?

LWB offers many ways to sponsor individual children for care. Sponsors receive regular updates and photos on their sponsored children and get to see firsthand the difference they are making. Read more about the various programs and the children in need of sponsorship through the links below. Use the buttons at right to start sponsoring today.

Each of the buttons below will take you to a specific child whom I have chosen as the focus child for Forty Days. If you would prefer to make your own choice of a child to sponsor (please do!!), use the links to the left.
The following button will take you to the Preemie/Special Nutrition Fund. There are other nutritional needs as well. Use the link at left to read about other needs.

There are currently seven children who need sponsors at New Day's Beijing Foster Home. Call me crazy, but I believe that all children could be fully sponsored if everyone who reads this sponsored just one child for $35 per month. Wouldn't that be amazing? You know what would be even more amazing? With all children fully sponsored there would be the ability to take one more, or maybe one more and another one more. Every child fully sponsored not only ensures that there are funds for that child but also opens the door to more children who don't yet have sponsors. You can be a part of that!
You know that New Day has a special place in my heart because this is where I work! So, yes, I am a little biased, but I also know from seeing so many places where children live and are cared for that this is a really good place. Really good. New Day also welcomes sponsors to come and volunteer and see the work we do and get to know your sponsored child, and if you do, I will be here to personally say *Thank You!* ~Donna |
As a sponsor, you can choose which child you would like to sponsor. We'll send you an initial sponsor packet with a photograph and information on the child. Throughout the year, you will receive monthly e-mail updates with a progress report and a new picture. You can also learn about your child's daily life via our updates on FaceBook and our blog.
Once you have decided which child to sponsor, go to the Sponsorship Page to complete the process.
